Troy Flinn

As the founder of Alpha Wealth Advisors, Troy brings over 39 years of holistic financial and wealth management experience to the helm of the firm. Troy has dedicated his career to sophisticated asset management and systematic investment design. At Alpha Wealth, Troy drives the firm’s investment philosophy and oversees the research, evaluation, and implementation of tailored portfolios for every client. His expertise extends beyond individual wealth, encompassing the intricate design and government compliance of qualified retirement plans. Troy is recognized as a mainstay of the region’s financial community with a reputation built on commitment to technical precision, client advocacy, and the delivery of actionable wealth strategies.

Outside the office, Troy remains a dedicated mentor and civic leader. He has served on numerous influential boards, including Benedictine College Preparatory and the Saint Francis Home. He is a current sponsor of the Virginia CEOs and former member of Richmond’s Estate Planning Council and Financial Planning Association. Troy extends his mentorship to the development of youth athletes as a coach for the Benedictine Middies football team, a program he has dedicated 20 years to and counting.

Troy earned his B.S. in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University and Chartered Financial Consultant designation from American College. He resides in Manakin Sabot with his wife, Denise, and takes great pride in the accomplishments of their three children.
